Both of New York’s US Senators (Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand) called on Governor Andrew Cuomo to resign, saying that Cuomo has “lost the confidence of his governing partners and the people of New York” following several allegations of sexual misconduct. Cuomo has denied the allegations, and investigations into the allegations are ongoing.
