6.4-magnitude earthquake strikes in Croatia
A 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Croatia yesterday. The tremor killed at least seven people, caused widespread property damage, and led to a series of aftershocks that were felt in several surrounding nations. The initial quake struck in central Croatia near the city of Petrinja (map), and rescue efforts are ongoing.
