Commerce Department adds 7 Chinese firms to Entity List
The Commerce Department added seven Chinese supercomputing companies to a highly restrictive economic blacklist (known as the “Entity List”), citing national security concerns. The US has placed several companies on the list in recent years, including Chinese telecom equipment manufacturer Huawei.
