China sanctions UK individuals and entities

China announced retaliatory sanctions against four UK entities and nine individuals today. The sanctions followed coordinated sanctions implemented by the UK, EU, US, and Canada this week related to human rights abuses of Uighur Muslims and other ethnic minorities in China’s Xinjiang region.
