China reaches record trade surplus

China’s trade surplus reached a record $75B in November, outpacing the previous record set in May. The growth was fueled by a 21% year-over-year increase in exports, which was driven by increasing global demand for a wide range of Chinese goods (ranging from consumer electronics to safety equipment and PPE).
