China’s economy grows by 2.3% in 2020

China’s economy grew by 2.3% in 2020, becoming the only major world economy to grow in 2020 (given economic impact from the pandemic). Still, the GDP figure marks China’s slowest growth rate since 1990 and is down from 6.0% in 2019.
