CDC announces new restrictions on air travelers entering the US
The CDC announced that all air passengers entering the US must test negative for the coronavirus no more than 72 hours before their departure, expanding on a previous requirement that applied only to passengers arriving from the UK. The decision was made in an effort to slow the spread of the virus as health officials work to distribute vaccinations, with the CDC specifically referencing new, more transmissible coronavirus variants emerging around the world (source).
