CDC updates coronavirus transmission guidelines

The CDC updated its coronavirus transmission guidelines yesterday, noting that the virus “can sometimes be spread by airborne transmission” (i.e. droplets that linger in the air) but “most commonly spreads during close contact.” The CDC initially posted guidelines related to airborne transmission last month, but temporarily removed them (noting that a draft was mistakenly posted).
