CBO projects second-highest federal budget deficit on record
The Congressional Budget Office projected that the federal budget deficit will reach $2.3T this year. The tally, which does not include the recently-proposed $1.9T coronavirus relief package, would mark the second-highest deficit on record (after $3T last year). Access the full report.
