California preemptively announces plans for stay-at-home order
California preemptively announced plans to implement stay-at-home orders in regions where ICU capacity falls below 15%. Officials noted that while none of the five regions designated by the state currently meet the threshold, “some are projected to within the next week.” The announcement comes as the coronavirus cases continue to surge around the country, with reported cases reaching 14M yesterday.
