California announces new limited stay at home order

California Governor Gavin Newsom announced a limited stay at home order yesterday. The order prohibits non-essential work, travel, and gatherings between 10pm and 5am and applies to over 90% of the state’s residents. The decision comes as several other states and municipalities reimpose restrictions in an effort to combat a recent surge in coronavirus cases around the country.

Extra: Meanwhile, the CDC recommended that people avoid travel and remain home for Thanksgiving to avoid spreading the virus.
