Post-Brexit trade talks continue

Post-Brexit trade negotiations between UK and EU officials are expected to continue today as the two sides aim to finalize a trade deal ahead of a year-end deadline. The UK formally left the EU in January, but officials allowed for an 11-month transition period that is set to expire in December. If a deal is not achieved, the two parties are expected to implement tariffs based on WTO rules.
