Bitcoin passes $20k for the first time

The value of Bitcoin surpassed $20k for the first time yesterday and grew to over $23k this morning. Bitcoin’s value has increased by over 200% this year, due in part to growing corporate and institutional adoption of the cryptocurrency (including PayPal’s launch of a crypto-focused platform earlier this year).
