Biden to direct states to open vaccine eligibility starting May 1

President Biden announced that he will direct all states to make all adults eligible for a coronavirus vaccine no later than May 1. Biden noted that the directive will allow individuals to “get in line” by May 1, but did not specify a timeline for when vaccines will be administered.
