Biden calls for investigation into coronavirus origin
President Biden directed the US Intelligence Community to investigate the origins of the coronavirus and report back in 90 days. The statement noted that the Intelligence Community has “coalesced around two likely scenarios” (including animal to human transmission or a laboratory accident), but that agencies have “low or moderate confidence” for either scenario (source).
