Biden administration announces offshore wind initiative
The Biden administration announced a series of new offshore wind initiatives yesterday. The plan aims to create over 70k jobs and generate 30 Gigawatts of power by 2030 (enough to power 10M homes for a year, according to the White House fact sheet). The initiative follows a January executive order calling for investment in a “new American infrastructure and clean energy economy.”
