18k people in Australia forced to evacuate due to flooding

18,000 people in Australia were evacuated due to heavy rains and flooding this weekend. Roughly 10M people remain under weather advisories and the floods have caused widespread property damage (but no reported deaths to date). Conditions are expected to worsen this week before starting to improve on Wednesday.
