Apple announces new privacy-related disclosure policy

Apple will require app developers to disclose what types of personal data are used by their apps starting on December 8. The required disclosures (described by some outlets as a “privacy nutrition label”) will be available directly in the App Store and will cover a wide range of personal data including location data, contact information, financial data, health information, browsing history, and other identifiers.
