Apple said it will reinstate social media app Parler in its App Store, following “substantial conversations” aimed at bringing the app into compliance with App Store guidelines. Apple was one of several companies to block Parler in the wake of the US Capitol attack in January, citing content moderation practices.
Extra: Separately, Apple will hold its “Spring Loaded” event today. The event is expected to focus largely on hardware (including iPads and AirPods).
