2020 vice presidential debate recap; second presidential debate to be held virtually

Vice President Pence and Democratic vice presidential nominee Senator Kamala Harris faced off in the vice presidential debate last night. The debate was widely characterized as measured and organized, and the discussion focused on a range of topics including the coronavirus, the economy, foreign policy, the supreme court, racial tensions, and climate change. Extra: Meanwhile, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced plans to hold the second presidential debate virtually next Thursday. Shortly after the announcement, President Trump suggested during an interview that he may not participate if the debate is held virtually.
