117th Congress sworn in on Sunday
The 117th US Congress was sworn in on Sunday. Democrats hold an 11-seat majority in the House (down from 38 in the previous term), and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was re-elected as Speaker of the House. Senate control (along with Senate leadership) will be determined after the Georgia runoff elections tomorrow.
